This is our government sending out threats for standing for rights, like the threats of death arent enough, FOH Toroto PD. So you choose to ignore the 1500+ caused deaths by officers in 2015. So kill the threats TPD, you just prove that we need more of this, UNITY.
Nearly two weeks following the release of Beyoncé’s latest single “Formation” and her performance during the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show, police officers around the country still seemed to be bothered. With tickets for The Formation World Tour quickly selling out everywhere, law enforcements will definitely have to be present at each and every concert. However, with Beyoncé’s recent message on police brutality, Tampa police officers are not here to protect the Bey Hive during the April 29th concert.Usually off-duty officers work the major concerts and sporting events at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL for extra income. However, no police officers have signed up to work the upcoming event. As of now it’s unclear if the absence of names from the list happens to be because of the officers’ dislike towards Beyoncé, or just the her new music and halftime show performance, which they claim has an anti-police message. It’s unknown whether officers will be forced to work the event, or if on-duty police for the night will be reassigned to work the concert.Steve Hegarty, Tampa Police Department Spokesperson told Fox 13, “We’re going to staff it because we have a responsibility to do that regardless of how controversial it might be, who the artist might be, or the politician might be. This is a couple of months away, so we’ve still got plenty of time to fill those slots.”
